Olena Pyatash

Olena Pyatash began to skate at the age of five in her home town of Kharkov, Ukraine, where she trained as an Ice Dancer. She took part in numerous ice skating competitions around the world and enjoyed a notable sports career.

She joined the Bobrin Ice Theatre in Moscow in 1996 and in 1997 joined the Russian Ice Stars performing in productions of Sleeping Beauty, Barnum, Sensational Ice and the Australia and New Zealand tour of Nutcracker On Ice.

Elena was delighted to join the Imperial Ice Stars in their 2004/2005 tour of Sleeping Beauty on Ice. The most important thing in her life is her young son, David.

I am so suprised that our time in the UK is finished, where did the year go??? and what will I do without the chance to go shopping in the UK, my favourite place.!!!!

Of course I am looking forward to going home to the Ukraine and my family and friends AND really looking forward to a holiday in the sun. I cant remember the last time that I saw the sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I have loved performing the role of Odile for the last year and so happy that so many people have enjoyed that. I was so nervous when Tony gave me the role , I really didnt think I could perform a solo role , but Tony had much faith and trust and gave so much encouragement that I cant believe I was so nervous at the start. Thank you Tony , and also thank you to everyone who gave me their love from the audience.
